How to Make Matcha Bliss Balls?
There are different ways to make the matcha bliss balls. For both methods we’ll start by blending cashew nuts, dates and agave syrup in a food processor.
For the first method start rolling balls from the dough. When the balls are ready roll them in the matcha powder. Because the Bliss Balls contain oil from the cashew nuts, the matcha powder will dissolve slightly after a minute.
So if you want that powdery green look you’ll have to coat the bliss balls twice with the matcha powder. This will however give the bliss balls a stronger flavour. I prefer the taste when they are covered once.
The second method is to add the matcha powder to the mixture and blend it in the food processor. This method will give you dark green Bliss balls.
You can of course also make a combination of matcha balls. A few balls covered once, a few covered twice and a few balls with the matcha powder added to the mixture.
