In this recipe I’ll show you how to make this super simple delicious 15 minute vegan chilli. I absolutely love this chilli. It is one of my favourite “I don’t feel like cooking but still want something delicious and healthy” meals.
Pair the chilli with some tortillas or make a bowl with some cilantro rice. And you’ll have a delicious easy meal!
How to Make 15 Minute Vegan Chilli?
Because the chilli can be made in 15 minutes doesn’t mean it can’t be healthy. I always try to use as many fresh ingredients as possible. And pick canned foods that don’t have any added sugar or salt.
To make the 15 minute chilli start by dicing the onion and garlic and crumbling the tofu. You can just crumble the tofu with your hands. The crumbled tofu will give the chilli a nice texture.
Next put some olive oil in a pan. And bake the onion, garlic and tofu with the paprika powder and cumin. Bake until the onions become soft.
Next add canned beans, diced tomatoes and a bit of water and salt to taste. I like to use kidney beans but you can also use other beans. Black beans are my second favourite. I also add some corn but you can add other vegetables if you do not like corn. And last add some ground cinnamon. The ground cinnamon balances the acidity of the tomatoes.

The last step is to make the chilli spicy. You can skip this step if you can’t handle spicy food very well. It also tastes really nice without. But if you like spicy add a little bit of chilli powder or your favourite hot sauce. I love spicy so I added some habanero tabasco.
What to Eat With Your Chilli?
I love to eat the 15 minute vegan chilli with some tortillas. Toast the tortillas on both sides before serving. This will make the tortilla taste so much better. I also like to add some guacamole or mashed avocado and some cream cheese.
Another delicious combination is to pair the 15 min vegan chilli with some cilantro rice and make a chilli bowl.
