How to make a smoothie bowl?
For the base of the smoothie bowl I’ve used frozen bananas, protein powder and a little bit of plant milk. To make sure the banana’s are frozen you can put them in the freezer in the evening.
Blend all the ingredients in a food processor and the smoothie bowl is ready for some colour and toppings.
How to make a Smoothie Bowl green?
To make this beautiful green colour I’ve used spirulina. Spirulina is a type of blue-green algae. It’s completely natural and contains many vitamins. On it’s own I actually don’t like the taste of Spirulina. But in the smoothie bowl it just gives a beautiful green colour while the bowl remains it’s delicious taste.
Smoothie Bowl Toppings
For the toppings you can add anything you like. The bowl look the most pretty if you pick toppings that complement the green colour.
For my green smoothie bowl I’ve decided to add some fresh banana slices, blueberries, pistachio’s and shredded coconuts.
