Crumbling the tofu
First you have to crumble the tofu to create the right texture for the tofu scramble. You can simply crumble the tofu with your hands. This only takes a minute. You can use either a firm or medium firm tofu.
How to make the tofu scramble
I chose to bake the tofu in plant based butter but you can also use olive oil. First melt the butter and add the crumbled tofu. Bake the crumbled tofu a few minutes and add the turmeric, nutritional yeast, plant based milk and salt and pepper to taste. Cook a few minutes extra until the tofu is cooked well and your tofu scramble is ready!
The tofu scramble is delicious with a fresh baked bun, some lettuce and tomatoes.

80ml Plant based milk
